I know self-promotion is integral to radio. ButV-103’s Frank Ski has been taking it to new heights, lately - especially since he’s syndicated his show. I welcome a radio DJ who can spout comedy and words of wisdom. But listening to Frank Ski and his morning crew expound daily on every detail of his social climbing achievements gets real old, real fast.
The Frank Ski Morning Show used to be a collection of fun, music and knowledge. Now its a self-aggrandizing, yes-fest with edited versions of the most popular R&B songs, local/entertainment news and — now that flamboyant Griff has been replaced by "Big" Chuck Smith — deadpan sports coverage.
I actually had to turn off the radio after drowning in the cavalcade of accolades from Frank’s many fans and admirers praising his photo-op speech he gave at Ebenezer Baptist Church, yesterday.
Am I showing symptoms of hateration?
