Those who know me understand that I seek refuge in classic, deep house and disco. I mean, when the world is running you down, what else can you do? I’ve been banging a lot of the hits recently in the car, singing along at full volume (to the confusion and chagrin of Southwest Atlanta caught up in the BET Hip-Hop Awards).

I should probably mention for the youngins in the house that the above diva is Linda Clifford. Ooh baby! Either you get it or you don’t. And judging from the posts I see on the hookups sites, the message still resonates.

That’s right, I’m talking about StarrBooty! The good news is, like the Democrats, StarrBooty is back and “hotter than a crack pipe on payday”.
