So far, so good at the New Gig. My coworkers are very nice and helpful; my team leader is laid back and my manager is hella-cool. For once, in about three years, work life ain’t hell.

Now, I just need to concentrate on the other parts of my life which are out of sync. ‘Cause, if it ain’t one thing, it’s another. Or rather (putting on my positive reinforcement cap), there’s always room for improvement.

I’ve mentioned my 90 Day Plan several times but, haven’t gone into detail, chiefly, because it’s not written down. Not good. If it ain’t written down, it ain’t getting done. So far, I’m focusing on the following:

Appearance - I need clothes. I hate shopping.
Diet - As I learned, last week, cold turkey is not my friend. Depriving myself of everything I like to eat eventually leads to a binge session, rendering me bloated and running to the bathroom every 30 minutes. Doubleplusungood and counterproductive, to say the least. New approach: More fruits and vegetables; less carbs, sugars and salt.
Fitness - I should be further along with this aspect of the plan. All I need to do is get my lazy ass in gear! It sucks because, my workout is focused on toning. It’s not like I have to lose a lot of weight. And yet, I do nothing. Arrgh!
Romance - I am currently working on a resolution with Ex Lover. So far, we are getting along great and communicating more frequently and honestly. It’s still not clear whether or not this will lead to us formally rejoining. However, he is my focus, romantically. On another note, I did have an odd dream last night featuring Juicy.
Spirituality - This will require more reading, research, asking questions, etc. I welcome any suggested reading ideas.

Wow. That’s a lot. And to be honest, all of it may not get done - at least, not in 90 days. But, I want to make these changes and I need a goal. I was chatting with Wood, last night, who has his own version of the 90-Day Plan. We’ll be monitoring each other (which is akin to the having the Walrus watch the Carpenter). Our first goal is Labor Day, when we shall have verifiable improvements, physical and emotional.

Wait ‘til they get a load of us!

Ooh. I pick religion. I’m a crafty homie for controversial religious-de-morale.

How is Zen buddhism and Bahai Faith to your lurid and titillating taste?

Oh, btw.. I been lovin and cuddlin and all that.. and basically. Old jams… Hell yea.

….I hope you
That you’ve been checkin’ me
I know what you’re talkin’ bout
You got me trippin’ on my own feet
You got me buggin’ boy
You bring me so much joy
You got me open boy
And Ima save my stuff for you….

- Total - Trippin

Damn!~! Can’t have enough of this huh… tsk tsk. Mwahah?

Lloyd, my man… There are plenty of decaffeinated brands that are just as tasty as the real thing.

excellent. i like the idea of a 90 day plan. something semi-long term, yet close enough to be manageble. whew, i wish clothes was on my list. but it aint in the budget. thanks for the idea. wish you all the dedication and determination necessary to make these next 90 days successful.
