I’m excited about the new incarnation of thebrotherlove.com. Giddy, almost. No time to actually work on it, mind you — or even discuss it in great detail. Too busy with another web project that started as a small, fun thing with friends and associates and has ballooned into a huge event for people I don’t know. *beat* Ironically, this situation mirrors another area of my life… But no time to discuss that, either.
No. Time.
The past six weeks at work have been extremely busy, stressful and meaningless (aka, The American Way). I leave work drained but have to conjure up some creative juice for the aforementioned web project consisting of many hours on Photoshop, Dreamweaver and conference calls. I fully understand why frequently, the webmaster and the web designer is not (and probably should not be) the same person. Two different hats. Anyway, for better or worse, the bulk of my frustration will be over this weekend when we re-launch.
That’s the reliable thing about time; it waits for no one. Either things work out the way you hope or they don’t.
I’se waiting in front of my monitor. This should be good.
Ditto that, Karsh.
Mm’kay.
I noticed your response on Lisa’s page about Joss Stone leaving you cold.
I suppose the thing about Joss Stone is the depth of her voice..
She’s the type of act that you leave on rotation on a sunday afternoon whilst making brunch and doing little shuffling steps across the kitchen floor (excuse my imagination).
It’s got that bBetty Wrigh tinfluence that just makes you wannna wriggle you hips a little. (IMO anyway)…
oh well… here’s hoping you give another chance :D
