A serpentine belt is a wide single drive belt that drives certain engine accessories (alternator, power steering pump, air conditioning compressor, etc.). It’s a type of fan belt with multiple grooves that fit into similar grooves on the pulleys. Also know as a multi-groove belt, micro-groove belt, or multi-v belt.

Walk on…. keep walking on baby.. ohh.. walk on through… please.. walk….. ohhh… walk… walk through the flames.. walk….
