Atlanta Black Pride Recovery

I’m slowly getting back into the grind after Atlanta Black Pride. Wow. As I predicted, it was a hectic weekend. But I don’t have any complaints.
I didn’t get to everything on my list. But I did attend a leather/wax demo; eat with friends; enjoy the popular Family Feud game with Together In Love; catch a concert; participate in candid discussions about dating, politics, barebacking, religion, transgender rights; and still managed to get my party on. Can’t ask for more than that, really.
The best part about the weekend (and our community as a whole), was seeing so many different people from all over the world expressing themselves in their own way. You just can’t get that sort of variety in a typical setting. Amazingly, I didn’t get whiplash checking out the eye candy. ‘Cause there was a lot of it!
