NYC Is A Wrap

Back in the ATL

So yeah, I’m back in Atlanta.

The NYC Hit & Run Tour was just what I needed. It was mostly cloudy, hot and sticky the entire time but I didn’t let that get in the way. Loverboy and I did a lot of walking, subway-riding, sightseeing, eating, more walking and surprisingly, sleeping. We even touched on a couple of clubs. Obviously, more trips are needed to that corner of the planet (but not before some overseas action).

Bigups to Bernie, Lynne, Donald and Philippe for the fellowship and laughs Sunday at Amy Ruth’s. Extra special thanks to Bernie for leading an informative (albeit, wet) walking tour of Columbus Circle (new career, perhaps).

I’m a bit disappointed by not seeing (or hearing) from some other personalities I’ve met online. But I’ve learned a long time ago that meeting online folks offline can be a tricky proposition. Some of us are honestly very busy, others are shy or lack developed social skills; and let’s face it, some of us are just flaky. But I won’t take it personally.

Gotta catch-up on my RSS feeds, mail and TiVo. Oh yeah, and there’s that pet project of mine regarding earning an income. Love ya later!

Glad you had a great time! I think Bernie gave me that Columbus Circle walking tour too when I went up to NYC. :)

Say what? As big as New York is and Bernie gave me a canned tour? The noive!
