Cocktails: Dead At Four

Cocktails is dead. Mostly. Actually, I could probably resurrect it but that would take about a day and only prolong the inevitable: another hard drive crash. And this is after I revamped the damn thing. Part of me is pissed and part of me is over it � I have had it with that girl. This is not the first time my Comcrap notebook has had hard drive issues. In the four years I’ve had it, I’ve had to perform CPR at least three different times. So, may that bitch rest in peace.

Unfortunately, I need a replacement like yesterday and I’m a little bit on the broke side. Luckily, I back up everything so I can still do work on Zion (the desktop) until I figure out a game plan.

Any suggestions on a reliable notebook (brands, configurations) are greatly appreciated. Oh � and although I love and respect you Appleheads and your struggle to “free” us PC users, an Apple product is not an option at this time (although I might get one to play with in the future).
