Blogger 54, Where Are You?
Here, there and everywhereby j. brotherlove
When I mentioned I’d be launching my brotherlove everywhere campaign in 2007, I lied a bit. The year isn’t over and I’ve already started blogging for Window Media, the nation’s largest lesbian and gay newspaper group. Their empire includes Washington Blade, Southern Voice, New York Blade, Express South Florida, and several other newspapers and magazines.
I know you have questions: What can you expect from my syndicated blogging? Will it differ from what I publish here at thebrotherlove.com? How often will I be blogging on the other sites? I’ll be honest and say that I’m still working that out. Expect me to do some cross-posting and massage older posts into new syndicated content. No shame in my game.
I’ve written for gay media before. The last newspaper was BLACKlines (a division of Chicago’s lesbian and gay Windy City Media Group). So, in a way, I’ve come full circle. Only this time, I’m kicking it up as high as the volume will go.
Depending on the topic, you’ll find my “column” in the blog section of several online publications as blogger id #54. Since Southern Voice is Atlanta-based, I will consider it my “home” base.
I should have more news after the beginning of the year. For now, say hello to my new readers in Houston (with a special shout out to Juan), New York, Washington, Florida and everywhere else with an Internet connection.
Congratulations! I’ll definitely be checking for your column in the Blade!
Look at you! Congratulations! Now I’ll have to start reading Southern Voice. :)
Congratulations J!. I see you’ve made some posts. I’m going back to read them now. I’m sure I’ll be reading your future writings as well.
YAY! Another one of us (one of the most provocative, interesting and relevant writers I know, really one of the best) graduating to the rank of Professional Blogger! What exciting times! Get those coins, honey and have lots of fun!
I’m. So. JEALOUS!
Super congrats Mr. Pro Blogger. I look forward to reading it all.
J.Brotherlove, many congratulations! When the nice people at WM told me you were on board, I was even more excited to join the team.
So very happy for you. Many sincere Congrat! to a great writer.
