A big-ass “thank you” for the well wishes on my return to the blogosphere. It feels good to be back online. I trust you don’t think this is the final design destination of thebrotherlove.com because, um… it’s not.

From some of the emails I’ve received, I see some of you are a bit confused about how to navigate this site. That’s understandable; there’s a lot of crap on here and it’s not all linear. I’ll try to clear that up for you in a bit. For now, when in doubt, click about (although, I’m destined to rename that page as well). Or you can bookmark one of the four header pages.

Problem is, I’m still developing separate (but equal) personalities for bloggadocio, j.ournalogue, mediumrare and xpressions - in particular, that business to the side. I haven’t quite decided what components should belong to which online ego. In other words, keep your eye on the sidebar because I’ll keep changing it until I’m satisfied.

Now about this mp3/radio.blog business… Like Jason, I also had it all mapped out. And then, I went on hiatus. I delay my fabulousness like that all the time. So if I appear to be a bit behind the bleeding edgers (an atypical position for me), remember I thought about it a long time ago, m’kay?

As I get the posting schedule and archiving mapped out, you can feast your ears on my current soundtrack: brotherlounge vol i. It’s mostly a collection of nu/jazz/lounge tunes served best shaken, not stirred. I find it’s best to fire up that sucker, minimalize it, and keep on trucking while the sounds permeate the brain.

Oh, and and there’s a bonus track appropriately titled lovesong. Current selection is “Love Is All Around” by the lovely Adriana Evans. It’s from her tasty, first CD (not the tasty, second CD I recently reviewed).

I had a radio blog type thing in mind too, but I’ve decided to take it to the next level, which will take some edumacation on my part. I’m sure you will probably do the same thing.

Now how Jesus ain’t got a URL he can drop I just don’t understand.

I was disapointed “Jesus” didn’t drop a URL either. However, he does use IP Address 205.162.216.220 for anyone interested in that sort of thing.
