Andre Kelley Makes Me Laugh

Andre Kelley is my new, favorite comedian. As a rule, gay comics don’t make me laugh. However, his appearance on Logo’s Outlaugh Festival on Wisecrack quickly won me over.

Kelley is a self-described “cornfed, beef-eating, milk-drinking, hay-bailing, thick-ass countryboy” who talks with a “white accent” and is easy on the eyes.

Oh yeah, he’s pretty funny, too. On dating men in LA:

“Can you see my big country ass with one of these anorexic, preening fembots in West Hollywood? It’s like talking to a cat. They blink like they understand, but…”

Hehe.

Andre will take a break from headlining LA comedy clubs and Atlantis Cruises to open with Sabrina Matthews for the hilarious Judy Gold as part of HRC’s Laughing Out Loud event in Chicago. I wonder if it’s too late for me to get a ticket.

Yes, he is very funny. I saw him on LOGO the other night. Cute too, that gap was killing me!

He cracked me up. I hope he gets more air time.

I’ve seen this guy several times and he’s always on point! His brand of comedy focuses on topis ranging from small everyday life musings to controversial political humor is always smart, timely and on the money. And that gap he had in his teeth………….very sexy indeed. Can’t wait until he gets his own tv series.

Funny you mention that, rokito. As an unspoken rule, comics who are extremely funny aren’t overwhelmingly attractive in the physical sense.

Even moreso with female comics. Although, Chelsea Handler is one funny hottie.

I knew him when he was just a little boy in Kansas. We met up at KSU… I was called Miss Mona by the gang, Andre ran around in Polo Shirts (PINK) with his black skinny butt (CUTE TOO) trying to be like Roger and Chris… HE REMEMBERS!!!

I was pathetic then and probably to some now. Andre was such a stitch and a great friend. I came out of a sound sleep when my partner was watching him late on Logo one night… KNEW THAT VOICE… SHOUT OUT TO ANDRE FROM AND OL’D’ FRIEND

Andre Kelley??? He aint $&*#!!!!! Just kidding. Everything you all say is true about Andre except for the Phine part. As one of the many many roomates he has had in his life let me tell you, it’s all done with mirrors, smoke, and vaseline! He is HILARIOUS and I am better for having known him!

Man, as a real man from Alabama I gotta say that is one fine mf’er. Not often do I see a man that is funny, gay and actually acts and looks like a man.

Hi Andre, love ur comedy, saw you on Logo. I’ve been working in Dubai, UAE and Europe for the past few years. I think you may have done USO shows, I’m sure the expats of Dubai would also love to see your show!

I’m trying to arrange a tour of Dubai and Kuwait for some singers working with Martina Arroyo’s Foundation who will help raise money for her foundation. You can look up the website online if you have any interest.

Martina is very funny and a fantastic lady besides being so talented. I think music and comedy could help peace if people would give it a chance. The Muslims love music and laughter as much as anyone. I’m not a hippy, lol.
